As I've said openly before, I'm an Independent politically.

Hence, a quick statement before I run off to start Shabbat which is now coming in much earlier here.....

FIX IT!!

I DON'T CARE whose fault it is; I DON'T CARE how it came about (except to the extent we should make sure no one buys housing on margin any more); I DON'T CARE about all the talking heads and spinmeisters who seek to manipulate this crisis to the benefit of their candidates.

I pay you suckers to be statesmen and to handle the ocassional national emergency.

This is one of those emergencies.

Fix it. Now. Without further grandstanding.
