Weigh In On The Discussion!

Check it out--we're having a lovely debate over at South Jerusalem about the "Occupation."

Gershon wrote this: "Occupation and apartheid aren’t the same, except in this: The occupation is dehumanizing."

No argument there.

"It is built on the presumption that some people, on the basis of their ancestry, can be caged so that other people will live comfortably."

Wrong. I disagree. But check it out.

Now, everyone be polite, intelligent, NO CAPS, and no name-calling. No troll stuff. Keep it clean and respectful or I'll be sorry I posted this. Even though I often disagree with Gershon, his post is beautifully written and a moving appeal to Jewish empathy for our cousins.

Besides, if you all visit there, you'll boost the number of their visitors and make them feel like they're not writing to the Empty Void (although I'm not sure we're the kind of readership they hoped to attract...?)
