Hafsikah

The uncommon quiet at this blog was due to a three-day trip to the North (along with what seemed to be most of the rest of the Israeli population). However, our trip, while wonderful in many respects, also included my unintentional hi-dive off of an ancient stone staircase in Tiberias.....so I'll be recuperating and nursing the bruises and sprained thumb for a few days. No pictures. Sorry--I couldn't hold the camera and shoot, and it was way too hazy anyway for good shots.

Back soon....

bummer! All you sprained though was a thumb??? That's pretty lucky, no?

We were up north too (loved that traffic on the way, huh?). We were in Tiberias Wednesday night last week for dinner. It was PACKED! We had some incredible fish though and the boys rode the electric kid bikes/cars down by the water....it was all in all a great night, except for the fact that it took us I think 30 minutes to drive the last 5 minutes into Tib.

See you tomorrow........sus

Hey, we were within shouting distance I suspect....we were eating 'lunch' very late afternoon in Tiberias--and we had incredible fish also. Fresh-caught that morning!

I followed ulpanikim advice and got an x-ray this evening--yep, those ribs aren't 'bruised' --they're broken. Anti-inflammatories and pain pills Rx'd and I'm feeling much, much better, thank you...((-:

OMG! broken! holy canoly!!! Did they wrap you up or something? Are you given any orders for resting or just the pills (which, believe me, if they make you feel good, go for it).

UGH......feel better soon. Is there anything I can do for you?

You're sweet! Thanks--but they've got me medicated, and apart from that, they can't do much. Mike is spoiling me and sending me to ulpan in a taxi every morning so I won't be walking for a while. My biggest challenge is staying alert in class...trying not to nod off in the back....zzzzzzzz....

Yikes! I miss Blogging for a while and come to find out you are having to recuperate, in addition to, attending Uplan...UGH! You poor baby, I know that broken ribs are extremely painful and yet you can't do anything other than have your body naturally rely on its own healing properties. I am so pleased that Mike is taking care of you, I hope that you are allowing yourself to be the 'patient'; when someone is as competent as you are and used to juggling this, that, and the other thing, it can be very difficult to surrender to being taken care of. I wish that I could 'teleport' myself over there so I could help, in the mean time, take good care of yourself and once you are healed you'll have to fill me in on what occurred.
